DESCRIPTION:The Kinsale regatta is the oldest regatta in Ireland being almost 250 years old. It takes place on the August Bank Holiday Weekend which is the first weekend in August. The regatta has a wide variety of activities. These activities include ocean yachting\, dinghy races\, swimming races\, road races\, children’s sailing\, children’s and adults fancy dress and water carnival. \nOn the slip way there is also the greasy pole and the pillow-fighting which a lot of the town shows out for and it is fabulous entertainment.
